Claudia Vass
Claudia joins us from Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts, where she served as the Ultrasound Technology Executive Program Director for the past 11 years. She oversaw three campuses, leading and conducting ultrasound education in the areas of high-risk OB, liver/kidney transplant studies, general, vascular, musculoskeletal, and neonatal/pediatric ultrasounds. She also focused on online education by establishing, implementing, and training her team on systems such as Trajecsys, Moodle, Ambra (PACS) and SIMTICS within the program.
Prior to her role at Gurnick, she worked as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for Sutter Delta Medical Center beginning in 1988, where she established a strong foundation for success as a clinical preceptor for Foothill College and Gurnick Academy. She originally found imaging while in the United States Air Force where she was trained as a Radiologic Technologist.
Claudia received her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration in 2020.
